Book Review: Learning to Swear in America

This book is perfection.

Yuri, a 17-year-old Russian physicist, is tasked with saving California from a gigantic asteroid hurtling towards Earth. Firstly, I loved Yuri – his voice was so spot on, and he’s HILARIOUS, often unintentionally. In fact, every character in this book feels so incredibly real and original (Dovie is my FAVORITE). I must admit that I’ve never read a book quite like it – and that’s a totally good thing.

And physics! I love YA with physics!

So yeah, I would read Katie Kennedy’s grocery lists.

(I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.)
