Book Review: Sad Perfect

Firstly, Ben. OMG, Ben.

Secondly, Sad Perfect is hard-hitting. Raw. Real. A book to fall in love with.

This was my first experience with a second-person narrative in YA, and I have to say that I found it completely entrancing. I read it in one sitting and was reeling for days afterwards. It gripped me in all the right ways. You will adore these characters (especially, you know, Ben).

It’s also an incredibly important book about body image and self harm. I can imagine that Sad Perfect is going to open a lot of eyes – and touch a lot of hearts.
